Inclusive care that supports the LGBTQIA+ community 

Help you can trust should never be hard to find. If you’re a member of one of Trilogy’s Anthem medical plans, you have access to an inclusive care program.

Empowering and Inclusive Care with Anthem 

Anthem’s inclusive care program gives you the support and confidence you need to Thrive. It includes a wide range of individualized services and resources: 

  • Support from health care allies: In-person visits or virtual check-ins from your couch with a doctor who sees your world and speaks your language. 
  • Gender-affirming surgery concierge: helps you find a surgery center and coordinate care with multiple providers. 
  • Specialty medication support: This includes education about hormone therapy, preexposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and other critical medications you may need. 
  • Community programs and educational resources: These can help improve communication, increase understanding and create support systems. 

Get access to a specially trained health guide. 

Everyone should receive the quality care they deserve. Anthem can provide access to professionals uniquely trained to help support unique needs. Health guides are available who are knowledgeable about LGBTQIA+ concerns. 

They can:  

  • Help you connect with doctors and behavioral care providers familiar with and sensitive to your needs 
  • Share information whole health care, regardless of your gender identity 
  • Assist you in finding a surgery center and help coordinate multiple providers. 

Guidance comes from the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) Standards of Care for gender affirmation.

  1. Call the number on the back of your Anthem ID card. 
  2. Find program details on Anthem.com or the Sydney Health app under My Health Dashboard 
  3. Contact your HR representative or message the Benefits Resource Center by clicking here.  
Medicare and Retirement Planning 

You’ve worked for this. Make sure you have the retirement you want. We’ve partnered with Transitions Benefit Group to help you navigate your options to prepare for tomorrow. And you can take advantage of these services for free! 

Find support with: 

  1. Medicare Coordination: Get help timing your enrollment in Medicare and assistance with making plan selections. 
  2. Social Security Planning: To draw – or not to draw – is the question most often asked. Understand the timing and outcomes based on your individual needs. 
  3. Life Stage Planning: Every stage of life creates new demands on our families and finances. Transitions has the resources to support your needs planning. 
  4. COBRA Support: COBRA is about more than providing health coverage when you’re in between jobs. This can also impact your college-aged children who need to transition to their own insurance policy.
